A creamy, cheesy baked chicken dish with minimal prep, perfect for weeknights or company.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Asiago cheese
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  4. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the shredded Asiago cheese, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined.
  6. Spread the Asiago cheese mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown and bubbly. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Serve over pasta, rice, or with your favorite vegetables.
  • For a slightly tangier sauce, you can substitute half of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
  • If you don’t have Asiago cheese, a sharp white cheddar can be used as a substitute.
