1 tablespoon blackened seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels.
Rub both sides of the tuna steaks with blackened seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sear the tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy: 115°F for rare, 125°F for medium-rare, 135°F for medium.
Remove from skillet and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve with avocado-mango salsa if desired.
