Make these easy, baked buffalo chicken sliders for your next gathering. They use soft Hawaiian rolls, shredded chicken, and a spicy buffalo sauce blend, topped with melted cheese for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce (Frank’s recommended)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Slice the package of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls connected in one piece. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush this butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
  8. Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the rolls are lightly golden brown.
  10. Carefully slice the sliders apart between the rolls before serving hot.

Notes

  • For a slow cooker method, combine chicken, sauce, and ranch, then heat on low for 2 hours. Assemble sliders as directed and bake only to melt the cheese and toast the tops.
  • If you prefer a tangier flavor, substitute half of the ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing.
  • Serve these hot chicken sliders immediately for the best texture.
