Make this rich, smooth, and versatile creamy garlic sauce in just 10 minutes using only five basic ingredients. It works perfectly as a dip, a topping for chicken, or mixed into pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper into a medium bowl.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste the sauce and adjust salt or lemon juice as needed for your preference.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill the garlic sauce in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve as a dip for fries, a topping for grilled chicken, or mixed into cooked pasta.

Notes

  • For a thinner consistency, add 1 tablespoon of water or milk until you reach your desired texture.
  • If you prefer a milder garlic flavor, use roasted garlic instead of raw minced garlic.
  • This sauce is best used within 5 days when stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
