Make this sparkling strawberry champagne punch for your next celebration. It is simple to prepare and perfect for holidays, brunch, or serving a crowd.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle chilled Champagne or Prosecco
  • 1 cup strawberry puree (from fresh or frozen strawberries)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda or club soda, chilled
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry puree by blending fresh or thawed frozen strawberries until smooth. Strain if you prefer a seedless texture.
  2. In a large punch bowl, combine the strawberry puree, orange juice, and simple syrup. Stir these ingredients together well.
  3. Chill the base mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes if preparing ahead of time.
  4. Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled Champagne or Prosecco. Stir slowly to combine without losing too much carbonation.
  5. Top the punch with the chilled lemon-lime soda or club soda. Stir once more, very gently.
  6. Add the sliced fresh strawberries and orange slices to the punch bowl for garnish. You can also add a large block of ice to keep it cold without diluting the flavor quickly.
  7. Serve immediately in glasses.

Notes

  • For an alcoholic party punch, you can add 1 cup of vodka or white rum to the base mixture before adding the sparkling wine.
  • To make this a non-alcoholic alternative, substitute the Champagne with sparkling white grape juice or non-alcoholic sparkling cider.
  • This recipe scales well for large parties; simply multiply the ingredient amounts.
  • Chill all liquid ingredients thoroughly before mixing to maintain the best fizz.
