This recipe delivers a light, hydrating, and refreshing watermelon smoothie perfect for warm days. It uses simple ingredients and requires minimal preparation time for a quick blender recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups cubed fresh watermelon, chilled or frozen
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vegan yogurt for dairy-free)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional, for brightness)
  • 1/2 cup water or coconut water (adjust for desired thickness)

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed watermelon, frozen strawberries, yogurt, and lime juice into your blender.
  2. Pour in 1/2 cup of water or coconut water. Start with less liquid; you can add more later if needed.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. If the smoothie is too thick, add more liquid, one tablespoon at a time, and blend again until you reach your preferred consistency.
  5. Pour immediately into glasses and serve this refreshing summer drink.

Notes

  • For a thicker, colder smoothie, freeze your watermelon cubes ahead of time.
  • If you want a low calorie smoothie, skip any added sweeteners; the fruit provides natural sweetness.
  • To make this a vegan watermelon drink, use a plant-based yogurt alternative.
