A moist and flavorful turkey meatloaf with a rich garlic butter taste, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner or meal prep.

  • 1.5 lbs lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  4. Add the butter mixture to the turkey mixture and gently fold it in.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear.
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra moisture, you can add a tablespoon of olive oil to the meat mixture.
  • Store leftover meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • This meatloaf freezes well. Let it cool completely, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and then foil, and freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a side salad for a complete meal.
