A simple and flavorful marinade for tender and juicy pork chops, perfect for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Stir in minced garlic, dried thyme, and black pepper.
  3. Place pork chops in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
  4. Pour marinade over pork chops, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours. For deeper flavor, marinate overnight.
  6. Remove pork chops from marinade and cook using your preferred method (grill, bake, or pan-sear). Discard used marinade.

Notes

  • For a low-sodium option, use tamari or coconut aminos instead of soy sauce.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.
  • This marinade is also great for chicken or firm fish.
