Make this creamy citrus smoothie for a quick, vitamin C boost breakfast drink recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 4 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the orange juice, Greek yogurt, frozen mango chunks, grated ginger, honey (if using), and ice cubes into a blender.
  2. Secure the lid on the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. Pour the healthy orange juice smoothie into a glass.
  5. Serve immediately for a refreshing morning start.

Notes

  • For a thinner consistency, add a splash more orange juice.
  • If you do not have fresh ginger, use 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger, but fresh provides better flavor.
